Everyone has seen the nonsensical jumbles of foreign words
and symbols that
bands pass off as a suitable name. Ever wonder how the heck you pronounce
them? This guide is here to help. I started it as a joke, but it can actually
be quite useful, especially in cases where the name looks simple to pronounce
but is actually quite different. Names are written in three forms: The original
band name, the katakana pronunciation of it, and the romanized version for
those who cannot read Japanese. Note that the romanji is NOT the English
dictionary pronunciation, but the Japanese pronunciation. If you don't know
a thing about the Japanese language and how it's pronounced, I suggest you

pronunciation lesson to help you out. Make sure to turn on your
Japanese encoding [Unicode] to view the katakana and Japanese-specific
punctuation/symbols.
